Robert Cope, MD

Dr. Robert Cope began his Practice in Adult and Pediatric Urology in St. George, Utah in 1991 after completing his Urologic / Surgical Residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He had also

previously graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine where he received his MD degree. His undergraduate studies were completed at Brigham Young University. He has conducted research on Kidney Stone Disease and Congenital Abnormalities, presenting papers at National Meetings and Publishing in Urologic Journals.

He has accumulated extensive experience in all areas of Urology, practicing for more than 21 years and is Certified by the National Board of Urology. He and his wife Tammy are the parents of 5 children, and the grandparents of 7 grandchildren. He enjoys family, friends, sports, and outdoor activities.

Greg Taylor, MD

Dr. Taylor has enjoyed living and working in St. George since 2006. He completed general surgery internship and urology residency at Oregon Health and Science University, in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from University of Utah School of Medicine in 2000, and from Brigham Young University in 1996.

He is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Urology, and a member of the American Urologic Association. He received a resident research award in 2006 for work done regarding testosterone deficiency and replacement in the older male. He has published articles in the Journal of Urology and other peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family in the beautiful outdoors of Southern Utah.

Dennis Mitchell, PA-C

Dennis Mitchell PA-C graduated from the Utah Physician Assistant program in 1989 and initially worked as a Cardiology PA at LDS hospital in Salt Lake City for 6 years. His Southern Utah heritage made it easy to accept a position in Family Medicine with Dr Tom Callahan here in St George where he practiced for 10 years.

It was a great opportunity to begin a Urology specialty career with Dr Robert Cope in 2004 and the practice expanded when Dr Taylor joined the group in 2006. During his time in St George, Dennis has also served as medical director at Diamond Ranch Academy and Eagle Ranch Academy, taking care of teens with drug addiction and behavioral problems.

He has also worked part-time at Dixie Pediatrics and in the Emergency Room at Dixie Regional Medical Center. He is a board-certified Physician assistant, was president of the UAPA and was on the UAPA board for many years and served for 6 years as a national delegate. His greatest joy is spending time with his family exploring the beauty of Southern Utah.
